The Washington Collection was designed for Knoll by David Adjaye. Developed during the realization of his signature project, the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington D.C., the Washington Collection for Knoll transforms Adjaye’s architectural and sculptural vision into accessible objects for the home and office.
The collection consists of two cantilevered side chairs, a club chair, ottoman, side table and a monumental bronze coffee table. The Washington body is a solid, nylon chair while the Washington frame features intricate, geometric shapes.
